The ferry ride from Igoumenitsa takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes, while the ride from Corfu takes about 1 hour. There is also a hydrofoil route that operates between Corfu and Paxos during the summer months.

How to Get there

By Boat

Via Ionia National road if you are coming from Athens (5 hours drive) and via Egnatia National road if you are coming from Thessaloniki (3,5 hours drive) you will reach Igoumenitsa port.

You will take a ferry from the port of Igoumenitsa. There are several ferry companies that operate this route, and the crossing takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

By Plane

To travel to Paxos island by plane, you will need to fly to Corfu and then take a ferry to Paxos. There are a number of airlines that fly to Corfu from both within Greece and from international destinations.

Once you arrive at Corfu airport, you will need to take a taxi or bus to Corfu New Port. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. From Corfu Port, you can take a ferry to Paxos. There are several ferry companies that operate this route, and the crossing takes approximately 1 hour.

By Private Boats

There are three boat marinas. Gaios marina is the largest on Paxos, located in the capital town of Gaios. Lakka marina is a smaller marina located in the village of Lakka. Antipaxos marina, a small marina located on the island of Antipaxos.

All three marinas are popular with yachters and other recreational boaters. They offer a variety of facilities and services to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
