Moggonisi is an islet rich in vegetation, located south of Paxos at a distance of 4 km from Gaios.

A small bridge connects Moggonisi with Paxos and the water between them is so shallow that one could very easily cross from one to the other on foot.

In Moggonisi you will find only one sandy beach, without special facilities for tourists, a small harbor for pleasure boats, a cafe and two taverns.

The beach of the same name is the only beach of Paxos with sand, and all the others are pebbly.
